An interactive equipping conference exploring strategies to overcome systemic poverty.

WHY COME?

Alleviating cycles that perpetuate poverty is not an easy task. Many separate entities are aggressively working to do so, but collective effort is needed. Sustainable solutions will be the result of unifying the Body of Christ. This conference will equip those with a heart to help by exploring leading philosophies and those currently engaged in this fight!

WHAT WILL WE LEARN?

Friday evening, 6:15 - 9:00 p.m., join us for a unique poverty experience to elevate your understanding of cycles that perpetuate poverty.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., come back to put your new understanding in context and learn some tools for putting it to work from the leaders in the field:

  • Roger Howell – President of City Gospel Mission and leader in systemic organizational poverty alleviation approaches.
  • Damon Lynch – Senior Pastor of the New Prospect Baptist Church and expert on Asset Based Community Development.
  • Kirk Lithander – Outreach Pastor at Fairhaven Church and leader in relational poverty alleviation methodology.

Lunch on Saturday is included in your registration fee.
